SMT Quality Inspector

A Swing Shift Quality Inspector job with a leading manufacturing company in South San Jose is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. Our client is seeking inspectors who have hands-on experience on printed circuit boardswith SMT and PTH components. The inspector should be able to identify the type of components, polarity, rotation, part marking, solder joints, alignment, etc. during first article inspection (at least a solid 6 months) and manual SMT visual inspection before and after reflow.

Swing Shift Quality Inspector job responsibilities include:

Utilizing tools such as wire crimpers, cutters, rulers, tweezers, magnifying lamp, microscopes, electric screw drivers, soldering iron, etc. to complete product.
Monitored quality and quantity to meet daily outputs of finished product.
Performed inspection test and troubleshooting on water purities
Delivery/ pick up parts to Micross/ STS customers. Receiving (receiving packages from carrier's example: FEDEX, UPS, DHL & etc).
Inspected and reworked all cables products
Inspect all the units box built, keep all record move good units to shipping, and complete all the paper work in shop floor.
Inspection of all incoming parts using company standards and procedures
Inspect and test Box-Build mechanical and medical devices
Helped in processing RMA
Inspection of products, ESD control, sent out tools and equipment for calibration
Incoming / Outgoing QA (verifies the Micross / STS traveler VS customers' traveler or document)
Perform Box build inspection
Responsible for QC incoming

Qualifications:

* Several years experience as a QA SMT/PCBA Inspector
