POSITION: Social Media Community Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH
DURATION: temp-to-hire

Position Summary:

The Social Media Community Manager works cross-functionally with the Customer Care team, the social media team, public affairs and store management teams, and the social moderation agency to manage the social media conversations taking place between the Company and its customers. The Social Media Community Manager ensures communications reflect the Company’s established Brand Voice and follow best practices for social media conversations. The Social Media Community Manager collaborates closely with the Social Media Analyst to ensure any emerging issues or controversies, or areas for opportunity at the merchandising level, are studied, reported upon and escalated as appropriate.
Essential Job Functions:

The ability to coordinate cross-functionally with internal and external teams, partners and agencies
Superior prioritization, workload balancing, assessment, time management and organizational skills
Ability to navigate and optimize workflow plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns/assets
Schedule and facilitate meetings to ensure timely completion of all project milestones
Attention to detail

Minimum Position Qualifications:

5 years’ experience with brand social media, preferably including brand-to-customer interactions
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of digital marketing/social media and branding best practices
In-depth understanding of all current and emerging social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr and SnapChat
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of individual work styles

Desired Previous Job Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related area preferred
5 years’ experience in fast-paced environment, preferably on a brand’s digital, creative or public affairs team
2 years digital marketing/social media experience with large retailer, multi-brand company and/or agency
Experience communicating with customers using a brand’s social media handle
