Project Overview:
The “World’s Largest Search Engine” has a central team dedicated to being a center of excellence for the rest of marketing. We share best practices and pave the way for social-first thinking. We run social campaigns for high priority products. We also provide consulting and guidance for teams on their social campaigns.

 

Description:

Our organization maintains more than 500 social media accounts across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. This role is a resource for social channel managers, sharing best practices, maintaining social account security, connecting with platform partners (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat). You’ll help define opportunities for process improvements, new platforms to consider, and scale support to the rest of marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define process and platform best practices
  • When new trends emerge, the rest of the company looks to us to understand how best to incorporate them into their social strategies.
  • You’ll lead the way to develop the team’s point of view, working closely with the platform reps.
  • Understand emerging social trends, formats and ways people behave on social to create & maintain best in class social creative principles that will be socialized with all of marketing.
  • Launch organic boosting test & learn trials that we can translate to paid advertising creative.
  • New Account Requests. You’ll be the primary POC for evaluating new requests as they come in and consulting the teams on social handle best practices.

 

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Superior project management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Passion for social media.
  • Ability to work with a high number of stakeholders.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.

 

Desired:

  • Experience with social media tools such as Crimson Hexagon and Sprinkler
  • Experience with paid social
  • Experience working with Facebook and Twitter platforms
