Responsibilities for the Marketing Communications Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

  • Write and curate content for email, fax, website and social media
  • Manage revision and approval of materials to ensure alignment to goals/purpose, compliance with brand guidelines and accuracy of content.
  • Post completed materials within appropriate systems and/or distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify direction and translate into actionable tasks
  • Update and assist in creation of sales materials, such as collateral, presentation slides, website content, email campaigns and webinars.
  • Update guides, resources and other materials for users of our platform
  • Manage social media profiles, curating content to share, drafting tweets and posts and tracking engagement

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS (Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related discipline)
  • Strong writer who can tailor content to different audiences, match brand voice and produce grammatically correct pieces
  • Independent worker able to prioritize work appropriately while managing details and timelines of multiple projects
  • Ability to learn a subject matter quickly
  • Highly collaborative - able to work with a variety of people at all levels of an organization; willing to ask questions; and comfortable accepting and providing feedback/edits
  • At ease navigating, posting and tracking for LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Word)
  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suites (particularly InDesign) and/or Wordpress highly desirable
     
  • Bonus:
    Familiar with healthcare: basic understanding of Medicare and Medicaid and/or pharmacy
  • Graphic design experience
  • Lead nurturing/marketing automation and other digital experience
