Social Worker

Adecco is hiring a Clinical Social Worker to join us! The expertise of the Social Worker is an integral part of our team. The Social Worker is passionate and is committed to providing a high level of patient counseling and education to those patients enrolled in our behavioral based adherence program. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, problem solving skills, and is self-motivated. This person will be driven to provide high level care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
• Utilizes experience in Behavior Modification and Motivational Interviewing to help achieve and sustain medication adherence through telephonic outreach.
• Uses knowledge of the behavioral based best practices to assess treatment plans and goals, patient’s readiness to change, patient’s educational opportunities, appropriate health care and community referrals, as well as value based outcomes
• Drives efficiency and outcomes through queue management, call and assessment processes
• Exercises clinical judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships
• Balances business needs with patient advocacy

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work preferred
• 3+ years experience in health and human services field

Critical Skills
• Clinical call center experience
• Experience in behavioral based therapeutic communication
• Professional oral and written communication
• Sound clinical judgement in accordance with Social Work practices
• Ability to accommodate a fast-paced environment, changing needs within health care
• Proficient with MS Office
• Knowledge to identify adverse events

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 year experience preferred
Work Schedule
• Availability to work 8am – 11p EST
