Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a VR Software Engineer role in Louisville, KY!

Job Title: Software Engineer (VR)
Location: Louisville, KY (No relocation assistance, per diem, or other expenses can be offered)
Contract Length: 3 – 9 months
Maximum hourly pay rate: $17 - $24 per hour / Adecco W2 (depending on experience with the requirements below)

Specific Requirements:

4+ years’ experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant Technical / Business experience.
Experience coding, VR (virtual Reality), working with new technologies.

Requirements and Accountabilities

Willingness to work on open ended and abstract problems.
Self-starting discovery efforts of the new technologies applicable and related to appliances.
Identifying technology trends and translating them to future OUR CLIENT’S products and capabilities
Providing general software engineering and technical expertise in a dynamic environment
Developing disruptive technology to first feasibility prototypes and value proposition confirmation; managing the transition of the technology into the OUR CLIENT’S business
Developing a portfolio of innovative partner companies for development collaborations on key technologies

Contribute to selection of external suppliers and software/hardware solutions and management of relationships with external suppliers.
Monitor developments in digital technology to identify new opportunities.
Ownership of assigned software and non-software deliverables
Liaison with internal / external customers to ensure that requirements are clearly articulated.

Selected individual will be doing coding and working with a lot of application programs so having a computer engineering or software degree will be needed. The candidate can still be working towards their degree, but they would need to be a junior or senior.
