Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Sous Chef  job in Santa Clara.  This is a temp-hire opportunity. As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in leading a team of Culinary Professionals that deliver high-quality, great tasting food.   • Ensure Proper food safety and sanitation procedures are met.
  • Utilize experience and talent to help restaurant reach their financial goals through skilled management in the categories of labor, food cost and ordering.
  • The Sous Chef contributes to building top line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior Team Member and Guest experience.
  •  Sous Chef supports managing quality in all aspects of their job.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Food Handlers Card
  • Passion for people, Hospitality, Culinary & Beverage excellence, and having fun
  • Proven success as a Sous Chef in a high- volume upscale or casual restaurant with a scratch kitchen
  • Ability to unify a team in a high volume, high energy environment
  • Communication skills that encourage an environment of openness and professionalism
  • Understanding and aptitude for team member and peer development
  • Ability to accept and act on feedback
  • Proven ability to recruit, interview and develop talent among our Team Members
  • Knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
