Essential Job Functions

Manage and coordinate elements of space planning for the company’s clients to the agreed service delivery standards to include:

Conforming to clients AutoCAD standards.
Converting client briefs into workable solutions.
Producing space plans for sign off while also verifying existing data and space plans.
Update Master Drawings databases to ensure that all altercations are recorded accurately.
Ensure altercations/ changes of the building services infrastructure are recorded.
Take accurate measurements of existing building space layouts.
Propose new design layouts that will meet the client’s and legislative requirements and compliance.

Take part in meetings and presentations including but not limited to:

Making detailed notes of client meetings.
Presentations of space planning options to project teams.
Take minutes and issue a report within 24 hours of the meeting taking place.
Must also carry out pre-departure briefings to client’s staff.

Coordinate and manage elements of moves for the company’s clients to the agreed upon service delivery standards by using the company’s toolkit including but not limited to:

Completing assigned tasks taken directly from the master control.
Preparation, copy and issues of equipment lists and relocation lists.
Preparation of site preparation and fixing of move reference position numbers and plans prior to the move happening.
Third party and client supplier liaison to confirm arrangements for move.
Carry out filing surgeries with move coordinators to check filing it, functional cabinet configurations, and packing and unpacking assistance required.
Familiarity with all elements of the company’s toolkit.
Must also maintain project filing system.

Must manage third parties:

Must manage and supervise third party’s contractors including but not limited to for FFE vendors, move agents and furniture installers which includes weekday and weekend work.
Must also ensure that the third-party services are delivered to the required quality.

Ability to travel:

Ability to work nights and weekends and travel throughout the U.S. which necessitates overnight stays.
Be able to properly represent the company while being based on the client's premises for the duration of the move.

Required Skills

Must be fully proficient in AutoCAD with 2+ years’ experience and IT proficient.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Package including MS Project.
Working knowledge of current U.S. building regulations and in-depth knowledge of Anthropometrics and Ergonomics.
Logical and strategic approach to space planning issues.
Flexible working attitude.
Strong communication skills and a track record in a client facing role.
Excellent organizational capability.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Must also be able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.

Ideal Skills

Diploma in AutoCAD/ Space Planning/ Architectural Building Services field is ideal or equivalent experience.
Previous move experience.
Experience taking meeting minutes.
Solid evidence of working independently in an unsupervised role.
