OVERVIEW

Company Sr. Marketing Manager- Events and Demos is enthusiastic about bringing our brand to life in experiential marketing events and building the company brand through our robust demo program. The Sr. Marketing Manager will oversee the field marketing manager and demo marketing manager. Our Sr. Events Manager will work alongside our marketing teams, sales teams, external agency partners and cross-functional groups within company to drive consumer connection in all applicable marketing channels.

Management:

 

  • Oversee and effectively manage events and demo program budget
  • Manage events team and provide strategic oversight on day to day logistics
  • Foster company culture within event managers and direct reports
  • Manage cross functional relationships to improve processes around demo and events program with all stakeholders.
  • Work cross functionally with marketing and sales to drive business objectives through demos and events.
  • Lead contracting process for sponsorship negotiation, site fees, agency support, staffing support, and other event specific needs with internal demo team and outside vendors while continually exploring opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all HR paperwork and demo support documentation is compliant
  • Manage branding projects to support events and demos.
  • Measure and report demo program performance to company senior leadership.
  • Track and measure KPIs for consumer events and activations to help grow the company brand
  •  

    Lead Key Industry Events:

  • Lead brand event strategy at key national industry events including but not limited to Expo East, Expo West, Fancy Food Show San Francisco and NYC
  • Lead strategy for retail and distributor buying shows including: INFRA, NCG, UNFI, KEHE, Costco, etc.
  • Bring the company brand to life at all events including oversight of logistics, signage/branding, PR opportunities, marketing partnerships and more.

    SUPERVISORY DUTIES In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications, which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.

     

  • 3-5 Year experience in marketing and event management
  •  

    KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in Basecamp and other team process management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PPT, Word
  • Experienced with with CPG industry events and consumer event management
  •  

    SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative recommendations and solutions
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong customer, quality and results orientation
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
