Position Summary

The Senior Data Analyst ensures the integrity of the customer and sales hierarchies and distributor reporting and resulting impact on data and reports provided to sales and marketing organization. This accountability includes data used internally by the Fulfillment team to support marketing program payments. Individually responsible for fulfilling distributor related marketing programs, Inventory Protection programs, Risk Mitigation program, Price Protection, as well as several retail marketing programs, including all

internal and external downstream reporting.

 

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ownership of, and responsibility for, implementation and maintenance of customer and sales rep hierarchies. Includes understanding downstream impact of changes on all reporting and entire fulfillment team to ensure accuracy. Manages timeline of hierarchy

changes and communicates effectively with fulfillment team and Sales Operations / Key Account Management.

2. Implement and fulfill select distributor related marketing programs. Implement and fulfill Inventory Protection program, Risk Mitigation program and Price Protection program, including all internal and external downstream reporting. Monitor exposures and estimate payouts with greater accuracy as the year progresses.

3. Implement and fulfill select retail marketing programs, including all internal and external downstream reporting. Ensure specifications used by third party provider are accurate, monitor exposures, and estimate payouts with greater accuracy as the year progresses.

4. Calculate and communicate goals and achievement for above mentioned

programs, and proactively report status to Key Account Managers and/or Field Sales Organization. Proactively identify anomalies or issues. Investigate and resolve problems with queries or data.

5. Primary department liaison to Agrimine and Agdata to ensure processes and timelines are documented and followed, and any downstream impact of data changes are aligned.

6. Primary department liaison to Key Account Managers (KAM’s) and key distributor accounts to ensure data integrity, accurate information sharing, and provide program and reporting related support, including ad hoc report requests.

7. Develop training materials (including uPerform software) and conduct training sessions as needed of other members of the Order to Cash Fulfillment and Data teams, Forecasting and Customer Service .

 

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

Education Requirement(s):

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or other business discipline, or equivalent experience in related fields
  • 6+ years of experience with BA/BS degree working in a supply chain, finance or marketing area
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision keeping goals in mind
  • Excellent computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP BW, and Sharepoint
  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to transform data into useful information
  • Attention to detail and follow through required
  • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work in team environment
  • Receptive to change as business needs change/shift
  • Familiarity with Audit and Internal Control principals
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and adhere to marketing programs and payments
  • Must have skills to create & maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Rapid ability to learn complex data processes
  • Ability to travel 20%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of crop protection market distribution channels and business cycles
  • General understanding of agricultural crop markets
  • Knowledge of key functional interfaces within Crop Science division to assure rapid fulfillment of customer needs
  • Proficiency in Access database management

 

Role: Contract

Title: Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Pay: $35

Start: 06/01/18

Shift: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm

Duration: 12 months
