Adecco is looking for a Sr Payroll Analyst in Shelton CT. The ideal candidate will have hand-on leadership/management experience (willing to jump in and work on a solution to any challenges that come up), as well have experience/exposure to Latin America payroll
Must be flexible and able to work through a changing environment.They are implementing a new payroll vendor. Any experience working as a part of a payroll transformation project would be a plus.
- Experience using SAP is preferred
- Spanish speaking would be nice to have but not required
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Tasks
- Responsible for accurate and timely payrolls in all areas of responsibility
- Interpret and apply company pay policies and local government regulations
- Work with local HR Business Partners to ensure that payroll and HR data is accurately input in SuccessFactors and in respective payroll systems
- Responsible for managing multiple priorities with frequent interruption
- Approve and release manual off-cycle check payments when necessary
- Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.
- Escalate potential service issues to Payroll manager.
- Assure confidentiality and security of records and information;
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written communications.
- Work individually and as a team member
- Prepare internal payroll reports as needed;
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-state payroll experience as well as experience or exposure to LATAM payroll
- Minimum of 5 years of fast paced customer experience.
- Experience with SAP payroll systems and SuccessFactors HR system is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated customer services skills, ability to relate effectively and tactfully with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and confidence necessary to work through challenges that arise as well as to provide guidance or assistance to other team members
- Proficiency with computer based software including Word, Excel, and Windows
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business field
- Certified Payroll Professional certification required
