POSITION: Sr. Payroll & Tax Analyst
HOURS: Full-time
DURATION: 3-6 - months, with potential to extend or go permanent, depending on client's need
PAY: $35.00/hr

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:

Lead the processing of U.S. Payrolls and Benefit interfaces. Act as the subject matter expert and support HR Help Desk with day to day inquiries to answer complex payroll and tax questions for proper treatment. Liaise with the Finance department to assist with reconciling GL payroll accounts.

This role requires advanced knowledge of payroll tax regulations to interpret Federal and state laws. Knowledge of EeTIME TLM system and FLSA guidelines is also vital.

Job Responsibilities:

Process Executive payrolls to ensure timely and accurate paychecks. Work with ADP NAS model using ADP Enterprise.
Lead the processing for Achiever's club, RSU, Stock Options, Expat, Shadow Payroll and ESRP Vesting.
Lead the MBO and WCS process with compensation.
Lead year end process, create Year End Officer's statements, and create all W2 communications and FAQ's for W2 season. Also update the ADP fast facts (Fed and State rate information) and publish all communications on Broadridge Central.
Work with ADP on year end payroll processing schedules, Adjustmate and W2-Cs.
Administer associates' access to ADP applications through ADP Net Secure Master
Verify associate state and local taxes are set up based on work location. Interpret payroll policies and ensures appropriate tax, benefits and garnishment deductions are calculated and applied correctly.
Make manual calculations for new hires, terminations, LOAs, third party sick pay and retro payments.
Process severance, stock option and relocation upload files. Analyze and update payroll and benefit data on a biweekly and monthly basis.
Process Payroll and Benefits integrations (401k- Integration, One Time Payment- integration, MARSH Interface, Buck Benefits Interface, Beneflex Interface).
Perform biweekly and quarterly wage and tax reconciliation and balances annual payroll totals to W-2 statements.
Follows Corporate SOX internal controls and utilizes the pre and post audits cycle checklists to ensure compliance.
Respond to requests for information related to federal and state audits.
Guide team members on complex and critical issues.
Monitor Payroll service ticket SLAs.
Train new team members on Payroll processes.
Investigate tax delinquent notices with Payroll vendor and agencies for resolution and accurate reporting.
Makes recommendations for process improvement opportunities. Document department processes and update SOPs. Train other team members as needed.
Meet with the HR Help Desk on a weekly basis to discuss relevant topics and for imparting training.
Get involved in M&A activities and projects when needed.
May perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.


10+ years relevant payroll and payroll tax experience.
Hands on knowledge of multi state tax withholding programs. Previous working relationships with Corp Finance and Tax groups.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and excellent project management skills.
Proven knowledge of call center Rep training on payroll concepts.
