Sr. Project Director

A Project Director job in Staten Island/Manhattan, NY is available courtesy of Adecco Medical & Science. In this role, you will serve as the project leader in the absence of the Medical/Project Director. Directly supervise the functional areas of vocational rehabilitation services and operations/quality assurance for both RWS and subcontractor staff. Directly supervises facility and support staff activities related to security
and operation of the facility children’s area.

The Project Director job responsibilities include:

Manages and trains staff in assigned functional areas
Ensures that vocational rehabilitation services provided by RWS and subcontractors are in alignment with HRS policies and are exceeding expected productivity and performance
Is responsible for facility management, including logistics related with leases, facility design, accessibility, maintenance and repairs, equipment and supplies, data connectivity, vendor contracts, and landlord/facility management company relations; coordinates facility support activities with the resource center support
Oversees the Quality Assurance program; directly supervises quality team members and ensures the HRA required quality plan is in place and being followed at all times
Ensures that timely and effective corrective action is taken when needed; monitors the results of corrective actions taken and makes adjustments as needed
Is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and disseminating quality reports and related information internally and to HRA
Is a member of the leadership team; brings expertise related to areas of functional responsibility and overall operations
Coordinates service delivery and performance management within areas of functional responsibility with subcontract teams
Interprets and communicates HRA requirements to all team members and subcontractors
Ensures the project is adequately staffed at all times and that required monthly staffing reports are completed and submitted to HRA timely
Ensures that all staff are adequately trained to do their positions
Oversees the Quality Assurance Program; communicates quality issues internally and with subcontractors and ensures timely development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Ensures coordination and integrated service delivery across all functional areas and service tracks; approves standard operating procedures in areas of functional responsibility and ensures they are being followed at all times
Responsible for supporting the Medical/Project Director by managing the budget and performance tracking and reporting

Position Requirements

Master’s Degree or higher in social services, healthcare, psychology, vocational rehabilitation from an accredited university required; Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred
Ten years of management experience with at least five years as a director or above in a performance-driven environment
Five years of experience working in vocational rehabilitation and/or workforce development
Five years of experience managing staff levels of at least 25 individuals
Three years of case management experience
Experience in overseeing and managing subcontractor relationships
Experience in vendor relationship management and facility management
Experience in managing government-funded programs
Experience in developing and managing systems of continuous quality improvement
