Position Summary
The Senior Shipping & Receiving Specialist position assists the Shipping & Receiving department at the Company Plant location.

Duties of Position (Noted Essential Functions*)
1. Data entry and filing within the logistics team;*
2. Creation of Bill of Lading;*
3. Tracking of shipments, including international and large customers, to ensure on-time departure/arrival;*
4. Allocation of orders;*
5. Creation of orders;*
6. Promotes a safe working environment where tasks are performed in compliance with all existing and future SOP�s and GMP rules and guidelines;* and
7. Tracking of KPI�s (key performance indicators)*
8. Composing, editing, formatting, and printing of documents;*
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Back-up Position: Production Manager
This position requires a back-up. In the occasion(s) when this key personnel responsible for designated role(s) is absent, the Production Manager has been trained and assigned as a back-up and can cover their nominated duties to ensure the integrity of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System.

Supervisory Responsibilities
No supervisory duties.

Working Conditions
Office and manufacturing/warehouse environment. Utilization of standard work equipment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Working in this environment may at times require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors and work boots. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not to be worn in the Plant.

Education/Training & Experience
1. Data entry and/or office administrative experience;
2. Experience assisting in the management of large customer accounts;
3. Shipping and Receiving experience;
4. Traffic Management experience;
5. MS Office, with strong computer skills in Word and Excel;
6. Good oral and written communication;
7. Proven attention to detail;
8. Quick learner;
9. Ability to multi-task;
10. Inventory & MRP experience; and
11. ERP experience, especially Sage ERP X3, a plus

Industry certification are preferred, but not required.
