Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist



Adecco Search is recruiting on behalf of its client in the Metro DC area. As a member of the HR team, you are responsible for managing and coordinating organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and quality improvement programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic plans. This position will also conduct full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for the company, as well as maintain effective programs for retention, career progression and succession planning.

You will:

Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals
Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., career progression and succession planning)
Participate in organizational strategic planning and provides talent insights and recommendations to leadership team
Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, career progression and succession planning
Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including but not limited to creating and/or updating job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments
Create and promote an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan
Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open exempt, non-exempt, temporary and intern positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.); Partner with HR Specialist/Generalist to complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start
Partner with the marketing team to develop appropriate marketing strategies, delegates responsibilities of hiring team, and develops service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire
Work closely with the HR Manager to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate the data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels
Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

Education and other requirements:


Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and industry specific experience required
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification strongly preferred
5+ years of broad Human Resources experience with emphasis in talent and performance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management
Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs
Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements
