Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Staff Accountant Job in Golden, CO for our client, a unique company which produces digital radiography, cloud-based PACS, ultrasound and imaging services to name a few focuses. The Staff Accountant will function in Order Entry, AR, AP, Purchasing, Intercompany Transactions, Reconciliations, Payroll, Sales and Payroll Tax, and more. Participation in month end close and reporting will also be a part of this position. Our client seeks candidates with recent experience in QuickBooks as well a 4-year degree in Accounting.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accounting Job in Golden, CO include:

Order Entry/Invoicing:
Verification of correct documentation on sales contracts and PO's such as signatures, pricing, inventory part #'s, etc. Communication with sales and supervisors regarding PO or contract.

Order Entry in appropriate company, internal web app, and release of order to Production.

Process support parts request, loaned, or rental equipment order entry.

Invoicing including freight and sales tax when appropriate.

Accounts Receivable:
Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Contact customers regarding past due balances. Follow up as necessary.

Elevate past due balances if response or payment is not received.

Prepare Weekly Aging report for Controller.

AP/ Purchasing:
Entering Purchase Orders for inventory, services, and project related purchases

Accounts Payable

Check runs.

Prepare weekly AP report for Controller.

Inter-company Transactions:
Process Inter-company Purchasing/Sales from holding company to sales company.

Resolve inventory issues with appropriate department.

Warranty purchasing. Ensuring that vendor purchased warranties are coordinated with Purchasing Department.

Ensuring Inventory is at zero in sales companies at month end.

Understanding of how inventory affects the financials.

Understanding how receiving and invoicing affects inventory.

Ability to learn inventory adjustments.

Understanding QuickBooks assisted payroll.

Process payroll (biweekly).

Understanding of Payroll tax, filing and filing deadlines, and payments.

Sales Tax:
Set up new sales tax rates for new customers.

File sales tax by due dates.

Ensure correct and full documentation for all transactions.

Ensure that correct processes and procedures are followed.

Month End Closing and Reporting:
Ability to learn Month End processes.

Ability to learn company specific reconciliations.

Intercompany reconciliation.

Balance sheet reconciliation.

Ability to close in a deadline pressured environment.

Month End Reporting:
Participate in month, quarter, and year end reporting package.

Ability to format clean and understandable reporting.

4 year Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
QuickBooks experience
