STOREROOM CRIB ATTENDANT

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Forklift Operator job in Shelby, NC. This is a long-term-temporary opportunity. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for inventory, staging, and moving all material within the facility to facilitate the manufacturing process. Responsibilities for this Forklift Operator job include:

- Safely operating client certified sit-down forklifts.

- Performing the appropriate PM services on material handling equipment.

- Maintaining proper material flow through the designated plant layout in a First In- First Out (FIFO) basis.

- Maintaining appropriate min-max levels line side. Reporting any discrepancies.

- Cycle counting assigned part numbers on a calendar basis.

- Emptying and draining chip hoppers.

- Proper disposal of recyclable materials.

- Preparing staging of finished goods.

- Preparing shipping labels and appropriate documents.

- Identifying all products by sight.

- Scheduling trucks.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Schedule flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/GED

- 1 year of experience in a material handling environment

- Computer literacy required

- Ability to perform physical activity (Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, kneeling)

- Working knowledge of SAP software preferred, but not required

- Sit-down Forklift experience


This is a 1st shift position working Wednesday-Friday (7:00AM – 5:00 PM) and Saturday-Sunday (7:00AM-12:00PM).
