Adecco Group is seeking a Strategic Portfolio Consultant for our corporate Financial Services client in Bridgewater NJ or Summit (Scranton) PA area.

Position: Strategic Portfolio Consultant
Pay Rate: $62.00 per hour
Length: 6 months W2 contract
Start date: immediately

Summary and Responsibilities

You will be working within the Strategic Portfolio Office helping to manage the portfolio and standards for the client. You will be doing portfolio management reporting progress utilizing the methodology and tools that are standards for this client for its programs and projects. You will be facilitating meetings for this corporation to report these analytics and progress reports. This is not specifically a financial investment portfolio consultant role – rather a role supporting the portfolio lead of this team.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Lead with enforcing portfolio management standards, guidance, documentation and metrics
• Assist Portfolio Lead with updating policies, processes, tools and methods used throughout the GCS organization
• Assist Portfolio Lead in developing and maintaining a standard framework for both the selection and prioritization of projects
• Assist Portfolio Lead with the creation or updates of required templates, tools and processes for communicating, documenting, tracking and reporting project and portfolio activity
• Assist Portfolio Lead with pulling together reports for Sr. Leadership
• Performs other duties as assigned by AVP

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

- Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required. SharePoint & Clarity Preferred!
- Strong influence and partnership skills
- Strong attention to detail and innovation skills
- Knowledge of portfolio management methodology and processes a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in business or business-related or analytics field.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products REQUIRED. Proven Excel!SharePoint & Clarity Preferred!
• Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills required
• Analytical Ability/Strategic Thinking required
• Organizational/Multi-Tasking Abilities required
