Studio Assistant / Operations Admin for Busy eCommerce Photography Studio

Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a national retailer, in their search for a Studio Assistant / Operations Admin for a busy eCommerce photography studio. This is a full time freelance role, working 40 hours per week onsite (Mondays through Fridays) in the client’s Monroe Township, NJ studioThe project will begin in the first week of January 2019 and is expected to last for up to 18 months with the possibility of being extended. Benefits, including health insurance, are available via Adecco.

The role of the Studio Assistant / Operations Admin is to receive, organize and prioritize the delivery of products to the photography studio. You will work closely with the photography team to ensure all company processes are followed to the expected standards. The role requires excellent organizational and time management skills to keep the operation running as efficiently as possible.

You will also be required to weigh and measure products to company specifications and input the products into the digital workflow. You must be physically capable of lifting 50lb products/boxes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Product Receipt – receiving and recording retailer samples, performing required currency and quality checks.
  • Product Preparation – preparing and batching products for physical processing depending on the service and tasks required.
  • System Entry – accurate entering of product information into the workflow, prioritizing according to due date and service level.
  • Managing and ordering physical storage to ensure efficiency – for goods in, goods out, customer storage and disposal.
  • Weighing and Measuring – weighing and measuring products according to worldwide and industry standard guidelines.
  • Product Disposal – removing completed products from storage in line with service standards.
  • Returns – packaging and dispatching products to agreed returns process.
  • Query resolution – maintaining communication with other departments to resolve any issues or queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Being responsible for the maintenance of equipment used throughout the department.
  • Conveying your knowledge of the process to visiting clients and newcomers to the business.
Requirements:
