Studio Head - Military/Gov/Public Sector


Responsible for management of the Military/Government/Public Sector
studio. Sets the strategic direction of the studio regarding markets,
marketing, services, client types, and project types. Also responsible for
managing services to clients including complete project administration
and directing department functions within the studio. Works in
conjunction with the studio coach to perform Human Resource duties
within the studio and to review studio staff resources, productivity, and
career development
Principal and Shareholder with the firm. Professional degree required.
Hawaii architectural registration required, LEED Accreditation preferred.
Ability to gain additional State and Territorial registrations as required.
Thorough knowledge of architectural practice, including budgeting and
cost control, scheduling, planning, programming, design, specifications
and working drawings; building and zoning codes; building materials and
methods; and building costs.
Thorough knowledge of office standards, policies and procedures;
principles of personnel supervision and management.
Substantial knowledge of related engineering principles; construction and
liability laws and professional ethics.
Thorough knowledge of military projects/process as well as State, City,
and Federal work and projects
