Supplier Development Manager

Headquartered in Paris, France, they are the third largest aerospace supplier and have operations throughout the world, including the US, Europe, Canada, and Mexico.

They are hiring for a Supplier Development Manager in the Florence, KY area. As Supplier Development Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and leading a continuous improvement process with suppliers including process control, flow, logistics and quality.

Job Responsibilities

Be part of new supplier selection process
Elaborate logistic agreements (functional rules, goals, performance measures) included in each purchasing contract
Update LA as a consequence of continuous improvement processes
Audit the suppliers to identify the key issues on the part production flow
Set up appropriate and robust adapted improvement action plans with associated KPI’s and targets
Support suppliers to implement the defined short term and long term action plans
Prepare and organize quarterly reviews with suppliers for them to report on their performance
Prepare and organize consolidated summary reports of supplier status for leadership
Ensure that suppliers have a medium and long term load/capacity balance
Provide/facilitate the needed methodologies and training (8Do, Lean, SMED)
Track and communicate suppliers’ improvements to appropriate departments
Develop supplier improvement strategies and goals that are directly linked to overall organizational goals
