Supplier Management Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting our client in New Albany, OH in interviewing candidates for a short-term opening as a Supplier Management Specialist. The Supplier Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the entire CSR Department by continually maintaining the business process for setting up and deactivating Suppliers. This position will run from the end of April until the end of August with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in all aspects of the vendor and factory set-up process
  • Have a clear understanding of all systems
  • Connect process with systems to ensure smooth business operations throughout the department and cross-functionally 
  • Schedule audits, manage invoicing and chargebacks with third party monitors, masterdata, AP and vendors??????????????
Primary Responsibilities:
  • ??????? Manage vendor set-up process from start to finish by partnering with Requestor and vendors to ensure proper documentation is received and compliance requirements are understood for entire enterprise
  • Ensure business operations adhere to the policies and procedures set for the departments including vendor set-up, factory approvals, evaluate any risk and identify process improvements
  • Operate in multiple systems, with an understanding of system interconnections, and recommend efficiencies
  • Manage Audit scheduling with 3rd party providers for entire enterprise
  • Facilitate record keeping and build reporting in Supplier Management and Factory audit Systems 
  • Review and process invoices related to compliance activities and generate chargebacks
  • Manage data collection for Conflict Mineral requirements 

Required Skills, Experience & Competencies:
  • Experience of 3-5 years
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize work with minimal direction and manage time appropriately to meet/exceed deadlines while producing quality results.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and ability to build strong cross-functional/cross-brand relationships 
  • Customer focused – team player/collaborator who can also work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of associates in various levels of the organizations 
  • Strong Proficiency in computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong Excel skills required – demonstrated experience with VLOOKUP's, Index, Match and other formulas
  •  Proficient in data research and analysis.
