Location: Somerville, NJ

Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:  $20/hr  + based on experience

Duration: 6 months contract to hire opportunity

 

Description:

Manage Supplier Survey process for calendar year including the following:

  • Follow up and obtain surveys for supplier re-evaluation.
  • Review and ensure surveys are completed and accurate.
  • Assign surveys to Supplier Quality Associates and follow up to ensure timely approval.
  • Scan and upload supplier surveys to TrackWise database and ensure the TW record is updated properly
  • Maintain and archive Supplier Quality paper records

Coordinate and support Supplier Quality Management processes:

  • Organize and coordinate internal assessment of change requests to ensure timely approval.
  • Aid in finalizing the closure of open supplier records including updating Audit records, change requests, supplier issues in support of Supplier Quality Associates.
  • Obtain necessary documentation required from suppliers to support material release
  • Organize/clean up Supplier Quality vendor files to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain files for Material Evaluations and Service Providers.
  • Support change control activities for Supplier Quality process improvements.
  • Support Supplier Quality Associates as needed during external inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and suppliers etc. as necessary

 

Requirements:  

  • BA/BS in technical field required.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation & Outlook.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and apply influencing skills in a matrix environment.
