POSITION: Supplier Quality Specialist 
LOCATION:  Waco, TX
HOURS: Full-time  Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm
DURATION: 7 – months, with potential to extend or go permanent
PAY: $27.00/hr.
 
Job Summary:

 
The QA Technician will support the Compliance Team in the Supplier Quality functions. Our client needs someone with GMP QA experience that is familiar with how quality systems work in a GMP manufacturing plant to assist with the supplier quality program. 

Job Details:

  • Transfer suppliers from the client's Waco DaCS spreadsheet to the Global Trackwise System (GTW).
  • Create supplier files (which currently do not exist).
  • Consolidate electronic supplier information into one central location.
  • Transfer consultant/contractor list from Waco DaCS spreadsheet to GTW.
  • Assist with initiating Quality Agreements
  • Assist with risk-criticality assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Regulated Responsibilities:

 
Our Client is a regulated company and the ideal candidate is expected to be fully compliant with all relevant regulated bodies. This will include but is not limited to adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
 
Education:

 
Minimum B.S. degree required. Significant experience in relevant field could be considered in lieu of degree. 
(i.e. indirect responsibilities within a QA Compliance program) 


 
Essential Knowledge and Skills required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Broad understanding of Quality/Compliance activities related to GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience with Supplier Quality and Supplier Risk Management preferred
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 
  • SAP knowledge preferred
