POSITION: Supply Chain Analyst / Logistics Master Data Analyst
DURATION: 1 year contract, W-2

Pay rate $45/hr

Position requires Expert level Excel

Essential Job Functions:

This role creates visibility and accountability of Logistic execution and supplier compliance with the inbound logistical requirements. The Logistic monitor will work directly with internal and external Suppliers, Warehouse Logistic Support, Purchasing, Procurement and IT.

General Functions
This role requires a complete understanding of supply chain management along with a solid understanding of the warehouse inbound logistical process flow within the material management function. This role also requires the ability to make strategic decisions that will lead to process improvements. Within this role there will be frequent contacts and interaction with other functional groups.

Essential Functions

1. Monitor internal and external supplier ASN execution within the Volvo Group logistic networks (MACS PROD, MQ, GEBIS)
2. Capture and Log receiving deviations (Bar Code Label, Packing Slip and Packaging at the point of receipt
3. Escalate system defects to the appropriate PSKU
4. Provide daily support as the single point of contact for warehouse personnel
5. Willingness to learn warehouse dock to stock process
6. Work effectively with multi-functional teams in a global organization
7. Communicate compliance violations to internal and external supplier base
8. Support MACS Manage Error Que
9. Provide daily support for logistic, purchasing and material control groups
10. Participate in Supplier Day’s
11. Recode ASN at goods receipt

Bachelor degree or 2-3 yrs. + related experience.
Willingness to learn MACS environment
Willingness to learn EDI utilities (Message Tracker)
Willingness to learn Packaging Requirements
Effective communication skills with internal and external suppliers
Proficient skill in analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting
Work effectively with multi-functional teams in a global organization
Proven experience setting priorities and working independently
