Supply Chain Analyst

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:

Analyze large sets of data, mainly utilizing Microsoft Excel, its built-in functions and if needed simple VBA macros
Create Pivot tables, summarize and present data in various formats
Submit data requests to suppliers and manage suppliers to provide requested data in a timely manner
Present data analysis to internal customers and incorporate feedback into revised analysis work
Follow-up on cost-reduction projects, coordinate team activities in support of expeditious implementation of savings
Prepare spend analysis data, obtain “should-cost” analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities
Maintain an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals

Must Have:

Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Superior Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookup, if statements, concatenate, basic VBA etc.)
Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding purchase product, planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations (shipping/receiving)
Knowledge of logistics principles (import duties)
Proven ability to gather, analyze and make business recommendations
Work effectively independently and within a team
Excellent communications skills

Shift Start/End Time: part time hours are flexible; can work a few days per week or a few hours per day
