Adecco Direct Placement is currently seeking qualified candidates for a direct hire Supply Chain and Demand Planning Manager position for a client in the Greenwood, SC area.

Summary:
The Manager, Supply Chain and Demand Planning is responsible for managing the daily operations for products shipped from vendors and customer service. Responsible for analysis and report generation of all logistics related information flowing through company. Handles transactional level work on the account. Works closely with internal operational support teams and support senior level to identify downward trends and opportunities for improvement for key accounts. Primary transactional based day to day contact and covers the customer service role at the plant level and vendor level. Plays a key role in achieving objectives and contribute to identifying, analyzing and developing supply chain solutions. This is a very hands-on role, reporting to the Supply Chain Director. There are no direct reports currently.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business-related field
Certification: APICS CSCP, APICS CPIM strongly preferred
Strong Systems, analytical and numerical skills with deep supply chain planning background.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Sage, DocuFire, xCarrier, and other related technology to the process
Ability to utilize Business Intelligence tools to identify downward trends and continuous improvement opportunities
Must be self-motivated and willing to be flexible in work schedule and hours. Sometimes the job requires staying later or taking calls during off hours or weekends to assist with customer issues.
Proven experience and ability to be a problem solver as well as root cause analysis
Good customer relations skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all management levels
5-7 years of industry experience
Excellent Leadership and motivation skills
Willing to travel as necessary to vendor locations if needed by management to fulfill their job.
