Description

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the “World’s Largest Search Engine” by supplying merchant stores with equipment and supplies necessary to fulfill and pack orders to customers. The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will be responsible coordinating and executing expansion efforts for new store launches and existing store expansions from a supply chain perspective. In this role, you will make sure that there is sufficient inventory available for new store launches, while also coordinating the delivery of equipment, supplies, and assets to stores in preparation for launch or expansion efforts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze launch forecasts and ensure sufficient inventory is available on-time for upcoming launches.
  • Procure supplies/material in cases of shortages to ensure delivery on-time to support launches when needed.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams such as Finance, Logistics, PMO, etc. to understand upcoming launches and be the supply chain POC to provide updates and take actions.
  • Work with the 3PLs to ensure fixtures and kits are built for store launches/expansions.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure the kits and supplies are delivered from our 3PL to store, and assembled on-time for launch.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure equipment/machines delivered to stores are serviced/set-up before launch.
  • Data visualization, building dashboards, reporting, and data modelling.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in Supply Chain Planning / Procurement / Logistics / Operations or a similar function.
  • Advanced analytical & problem-solving skills, including use of Excel/Google sheets.
  • Experience working with SQL, and other scripting languages.
  • Sound business judgment and ability to influence effectively by presenting data in a compelling way.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team and navigate in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in Supply Chain Planning / Procurement / Logistics / Operations or a similar function.
  • Advanced experience and usage of Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
  • 2+ years of data mining.
