Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Supply Chain Specialist position in the northern Dayton area. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

Responsibilities for this job include:

 

• Handle safety issues

• Aid in all material supply issues       

• Aid in finding a resolution to any material issues

• This position would help establish, communicate, track and negotiate logistics and materials. Procurement of production supplies from outside vendors and manufacturers. Experience negotiating pricing. Working with production management and scheduling to ensure adequate inventory levels for production flow.

                                                 

 

Qualifications:

 

• Great communication skills 

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite      

• Self-motivated         

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Must have an AS or BS

• 5 years purchasing experience
