Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:
Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Associate
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15205
Pay Rate: $20.00+/hr.
Duration: 5 month – Starting 7/9/2018

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Talent Acquisition Associate, are to:
•Model high standards of conduct and leadership;
•Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all Talent Acquisition touch points to implement TA Strategy and enhance the Employer Brand;
•Manage all activities related to recruiting except the interviewing and selection process for the standard recruiting;
•Complete all activities flawlessly to ensure the process is executed in line with the TA strategy, the service levels defined as well as with the TA policy, Blueprint and Working Instructions;
•Review, manage and complete tickets assigned to the TAA team related to the TA process or system from jobseekers, hiring managers, and recruiters through the ticket system or direct calls from hiring managers, job seekers, HRBPs or recruiters;
•Always ensure the Recruiter is informed of issues when escalation is required so the recruiter can interface with the candidate and hiring manager;
•Execute the sourcing activities for Sourcing & Recruiting Standard "Tier 3";
•Manage the internal sourcing channels and ensure that internal sources of candidates are considered for positions which they meet the qualifications;
•Support recruiters in writing and publishing compelling internal and external job postings as well as manage the cost from these sourcing activities, check local requirements for open requisitions and ensure the recruitment process runs consistent with local statutory requirements and leverage the internal sources for internal and external candidates;
•Execute the pre-selection activities (e.g. resume screening, establishing of longlist), organize the screening process and implement the offer process - without having direct / personal contact with the candidate / hiring manager customers as the (Local) TA Associate role is a background / back office role with the Recruiter role performing the client-facing part of the process;
•Schedule interviews, communicate interview details via the Success Factors system and ensure interviews are executed and documented in the system in line with internal competency-based interviewing ("CBI") approach;
•Communicate interview details to candidates, making certain they have all of the information necessary (via system correspondence, e.g. for detailed directions, interview logistics, etc.);
•Execute the rejection handling (via system correspondences) and - as part of this - also the "alternative verification" process to ensure that candidates that will not be hired for the requisition in consideration are considered for alternative jobs and / or candidate pools;
•Screen and route resumes that come in from outside of the ATS (e-mail, post) and enter these applications / upload these resumes to the recruitment system where required ensuring compliance guidelines are followed;
•Contribute to the offer management process;
•Manage, per the local process, the pre-employment process by running background checks, monitoring drug screens and acting as liaison between candidates and recruiters;
•Enter new hire data in the Bayer global HR system to ensure master data quality for HR and non-HR processes in accordance with the defined process standards and established KPIs;
•Coordinate, execute and track onboarding process related activities and ensure a smooth transition of the new hire from TA to business, ensuring responsibility and accountability of the hiring manager;
•Maintain data in the recruiting system and produce ad hoc recruiting reports as necessary and by ensuring data quality; record and handle invoices and candidate expense reports and any other financial information;
•Possibly lead small projects or work as a member of a team who operates as a liaison internally (within TA or HR Operations), externally (candidates, HRBPs, hiring managers) regarding tasks that affect their process;
•Address challenges that involve straight forward solutions or escalate issues that are more complex in nature.

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
•B.S./B.A. required with two (2) plus years of recruiting lifecycle experience; or
•HS Diploma or Equivalent with seven (7) plus years of applicable experience.
•Relevant working experience, additional HR / Staffing experience;
•Knowledge of common HR / recruitment practice / processes;
•Knowledge of local requirements for job postings;
•Previous experience sourcing and screening resumes;
•Excellently demonstrated interpersonal skills and team orientation;
•Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
•Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize workload of multiple activities while maintaining a high level of customer service in a complex and fast paced environment;
•Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive assignments to their completion;
•Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts;
•Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook skills

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with SAP (GHP preferred);
•Knowledge in Success Factors
