Type:           Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract
Length:        9+ months
Pay:             16.05 / HR 
Shift/Hours:    8A – 5P

Responsibilities for this Talent Development Specialist job include, but are not limited to: 
•    Meet with job seekers to identify barriers to employment
•    Assist in the development of an employment plan
•    Provide the job seeker with guidance or referrals to resolve identified barriers
•    Maintain complete, accurate case records in electronic systems
•    Conduct outreach via face-to-face, phone or email
•    Conduct presentations to groups regarding program services available
•    May contact employers and job seekers to arrange employment opportunities
•    Determine job seekers for program eligibility
•    Provide excellent and timely customer service

Qualifications for this Talent Development Specialist job:
•    Minimum of high school diploma and at least Two (2) years of clerical experience or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
•    Three (3) or more years of customer service experience
•    Strong verbal, listening and communication skills
•    Experience working in a high-volume work environment
•    Strong communication and organizational skills, computer skills, publishing skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
•    Ability to relate well with individuals, ability to motivate others
•    Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
•    Ability to follow instructions well
•    Adaptable, flexible and a fast learner
•    Creative and able to meet deadlines
•    Works well under pressure
•    Goal oriented and thrives within a team concept
•    Must be computer literate
