Scope - About the Role
The Lead Field Technician (LFT) is responsible for maximizing e-bikes/scooters (“vehicle”) availability in the field. The LFT is responsible for managing the in-flow and outflow of vehicles to/from the warehouse as they cycle through charging and safety inspection protocols. The LFT is responsible for assigning tasks to Field Technicians (FTs) (battery swaps, vehicle repositioning, vehicle collection). Additionally, the LFT is responsible for oversight of client's customer support / city communication channels to address vehicle related complaints in a time effective manner. The LFT reports to the Field Operations Manager (FOM).


•    Intermediate computer knowledge (Google Suite spreadsheets, documents, web browser, emails, etc)
•    Familiarity with using smartphones / technology (iOS / iPhone experience preferred)
•    Experience in a leadership position / working effectively in a team-centered environment
•    Clean driving record for the past 3 years (ability to pass Moving Violation Report)
•    Ability to lift 50 lbs. with ease on a regular basis
•    Ability to stand / be on your feet for extended periods of time (4+ hrs.)
•    (Preferred) Experience driving a variety of vehicle types
•    (Preferred) Experience using standard hand and power tools


•    Work closely with the FOM to develop shift strategy and monitor/report shift metrics
•    Supervise / complete safety and operational processes
•    Dispatch FTs in vans to distribute/collect e-bikes/scooters and perform e-bike battery swaps
•    Communicate with customer service and coordinate with FTs to respond to incidents and complaints in the field
•    Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by following safe work practices and procedures
•    Oversee in-warehouse inspections and plan redistribution of e-bikes/scooters
•    Document damage to vans and equipment
•    Identify, document, and coordinate w/ FTs to recover e-bikes/scooters requiring in-shop repair
•    Train FT2s and FT1s on best practices on all e-bike/scooter related operations
•    Engage with and respond to customers in the field
•    Adhere to all safety protocol as established by the Field Ops Manager
•    Ability/Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends

Pay: $18.00/hour
Days: Various schedules to choose - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun
Shifts: AM, PM and GY
Hours: Full time
