Title: Tax Accountant 
Location:  Boston, MA
Contract Length: month contract
Pay Rate: 45.00$ Hourly 
Shift: 8am to 5pm
 
Description:
 
• Prepare federal and state income and gift tax returns for High Net Worth Individuals with Go Systems tax software.
• Use of Go systems software is preferred
• Deliver superior service.
• Provide assistance to team in area of problem resolution.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise. Conduct minor tax research to resolve tax problems.
• Respond effectively and timely to inquiries.
• Accountable for compliance with federal and state tax laws for all clients serviced.
• Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, taking into consideration managing risk and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of applicable tax laws.
• Proficient in and/or obtains training regarding current systems, software programs and tools used by PTS.
• Participate in continuing education courses/seminars to keep abreast of area of expertise (new product offerings, legal/regulation updates, strategies, etc.).

Qualifications:
 
• Accounting background is preferred
• Able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results
• Self-review complex HNW federal and state individual income tax returns and gift tax returns.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HNW individual tax services environment.
• Demonstrate oral and written, communications skills.
• Strong working knowledge of individual tax return preparation and processing in a high volume environment.
• Able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results
