Job Title: Tax Accountant I
Location: Tucker GA
Start Date: ASAP 
Duration: 5  Months 
Pay Rate: $20.00 Per Hour 
Hours: 9am – 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday
 
Job Description:

  • Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description.
  • Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal.
  • Maintains tax records and prepares tax returns, related schedules, and related reports.
  • Prepares paperwork for local, state and federal level returns.
  • May require a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Position Requires: 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • 4 Year College degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and/or related fields. 
  • Strong Analytical Skills 
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Sales Tax and/or Personal Property Tax experience 
  • Advanced Excel experience 
  • Access Database experience 
  • Familiar with relational databases such as Toad, Alteryx and/or Hyperion
