We have an immediate opening for a Team Lead II to work on the Michigan Digitization Project in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a long-term contract for 2 years working in a production environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience with supervision in a production or manufacturing setting. The Team Lead II is responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. The leader is responsible for knowing proper procedures for workers to follow and ensuring that they comply. You will directly supervise production and quality employees.

Job Duties:
*Accomplishes production staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
*Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
*Maintains staff by training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
*Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
*Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
*Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
*Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
*Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

You must have strong people skills and proven experience with motivating and retaining employees. You will produce daily metrics and ensure production and quality goals are being met.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.

*1-3 years of supervisory / management experience of production staff
*Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.
*Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management
*Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws
*Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills
*Must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify problem areas and make recommendations for improvement.
*Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite and Google docs required.
