TEAM LEADS

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Lead Production roles in Madison, WI.  The Lead Operations Specialist will work closely with both hourly associates and Area Managers in all aspects of the operation. The Lead Operations Specialist is able to identify and resolve problems efficiently. They know how to delegate responsibilities to make the work environment the most efficient it can be. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, goal driven, and possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

$17 an hour 

Responsibilities

  • Workflow management and delegation
  • Communicate daily departmental and individual goals to employees
  • Monitoring and correcting order flow to meet daily/weekly Service Level Agreement standards
  • Ability to build and maintain a positive environment
  • Reporting daily/weekly metrics to FC Leadership
  • Assisting Inventory Control Specialists on investigating and resolving problematic customer orders and inventory
  • Train new employees (including temporary employees) and cross-train existing employees
  • Have a sense of urgency in completing all departmental and personal goals
  • Be an example for all associates to follow. As an agent of the company, you must have a very good attendance record, treat all employees with respect, communicate in a professional and honest manner, and be productive.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk comfortably for up to 12 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull product weighing up to 100 pounds, utilizing basic warehouse equipment


Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WLIB is necessary
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be available for variety of morning and evening shifts, including weekends
  • Familiarity with all FC processes is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of warehouse receiving, shipping, or returns processes
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Solid written and verbal communications skills
  • 1+ years of experience within the Amazon Fulfillment Center environment
  • Previous management experience is preferred, but not necessary
