Adecco, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of office and finance professionals is currently recruiting for a Contract, Technical Specialist job for our client located in Granbury, TX

Shift: 5:30am - 10:30am (Part-Time, 20 - 25 hours per week)
Duration: 2 1/2 Months

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour


Qualifications:
Critical Skills and Abilities:
1. Use of Electronic Technology — the ability to use a laptop or PC for email, word processing and work instruction software. Operate and maintain any work related process applications/software
2. Basics Mechanical Concepts – the ability to use and handle tools to perform configuration and measurements. To understand instructions and concepts required for basic mechanical performance
3. Written Comprehension — the ability to read and interpret technical application instructions and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
4. Selective Attention — the ability to concentrate on a task or process over a period of time without being distracted.
5. Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of robot operation, or interfacing processes to evaluate quality or performance.
6. Time Management — managing one's own time and contemplating/considering the time of others to effectively complete and deliver on a given task.
7. Technical aptitude – possess operational understanding of Linux as required for interface with robot OS – familiarity/ability to operate xBox controller for robot manipulation

Minimum Requirements:
• High school graduate/Technical/Mechanical Associates Degree or equivocal experience
• 0 – 3 years of experience in a related industry Preferred Experience:
• Linux OS and xBox controller familiarity

Responsibilities:
Responsible for accessing and verification of robots operational functions. Operate xBox type controller to maneuver Linux OS robot to perform multi-functional sequence process effectively.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Testing and verification of link to network systems required for robots correct function and performance. Network to robot access confirmation and verification of operation of robot function.
2. Understand and follow defined instructions that enable robot prep and operation to fulfill robots tasks.
3. Communicate directly with robot per its operational functional requirements and with anyone/anything defined to meet its functional objective.
4. Maneuver robot as directed to effectively ensure robots optimum performance
