We are looking for a full-time Technician to support the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of hardware and software at a well known Ann Arbor Tech firm. Seeking someone who enjoys a challenge and thinks on their feet!

This is a 2 year contract starting in April 2018.

Responsibilities
*Coordinating with a very small team to prioritize and collaborate in solving technical issues.
*Setup and maintain computer equipment and perform planned preventative maintenance activities.
*Create, maintain and execute scripts to automate routine activities.
*Diagnose & repair equipment failures and track using repair ticket system.
*Troubleshoot software issues and recommend solutions.
*Maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

Day shift M-F 7:30am-4:30pm

Required Qualifications
*The attitude and aptitude to learn new things on a regular basis.
*A working knowledge of Linux.
*Some post high school training, degree in an IT or related field preferred or 2-5+ years experience.
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Practical experience with one or more of the following preferred:
*Python Programming
*BASH Scripting
*SQL
*Electronics
*Photography
*Digitization systems (scanners and/or photographic equipment) and operations
