Technician (Electrical)


Responsibilities for this Electrical Trouble Shooter Technician job include:

  • Familiar with electrical equipment, concepts, practices, and procedures required in the control of manufacturing processes.
  • Relies on training and experience to accomplish tasks. Performs a variety of tasks required to build, install, and diagnose electrical equipment.
  • Will be expected to travel to various company facilities to install projects and provide support. May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected .


  • Assist in development of unique manufacturing processes with a team consisting of manufacturing, engineering and supplier personnel.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Build and install electrical process control equipment.
  • Construct, wire, and install electrical control panels, enclosures, cabinets, power feeds, and communication wiring
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment including Allen Bradley PLC base control systems, sensors, VFD and servo drives
  • Develop and modify robot programs with the teach pendant as well as through offline software.
  • Evaluate and test process controls for proper operation.
  • Evaluate and test manufacturing process equipment.
  • Follow-up and assist in all phases of: the final production design, construction, integration, final installation, and troubleshooting of process equipment at the manufacturing facility.
  • Update electrical drawings to “as built”.
  • Assist in developing and standardizing to create robust processes.
