Temp Materials Coordinator/ Production Planner

As a member of the Master Scheduling and Order Operations Team this individual will be responsible for Planning and Materials Coordination in the Portland manufacturing plant.

Primary Responsibilities:

� Identify and expedite shortages by working directly with procurement
� Prioritize work order shortage filling
� Firming, releasing and closing of production orders to meet production schedules and customer orders commitments
� Communicate clearly to the appropriate parties about deviations and delays to the schedule and customer orders
� Updates daily movement of parts providing information to appropriate personnel regarding back order of critical scheduled material
� Delivers materials as required for designated production areas and engineering projects. The ability to stand, walk and/or be on your feet up to 50 percent of the day may be required.
� Coordinate all activities between Master Scheduling and the logistics team (priorities, shortage filling, urgent receipts, MRB materials, etc.)
� Work cooperatively within the Master Scheduling team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely fashion

Skills Required:

� Demonstrate high energy and urgency in a fast pace environment to resolve issues quickly
� Ability to manage multiple critical tasks at one time
� SAP or similar ERP system experience
� Well-developed analytical skills
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills
� Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.,)
� 5+ years working experience in Planning or Materials Coordination
� APICS certification highly recommended
