Test Creation Administrator I

Position Summary
The Test Creation Administrator I is an intermediate support position, which works under direct supervision. This position provides technical support for the group and uses specialized test creation software in performing assessment creation work. Can reliably and efficiently follow established processes and propose efficiencies and innovation to improve processes. Can learn and use new technologies facilely in support of test creation.


Responsibilities
Enter and/or apply revisions to test items/passages/metadata in test creation software system.
Assist in supporting constructed-response scoring activities.
Use SharePoint, Excel, and other software tools to track item submissions.
Assist in preparing materials for committee review.
May assist with getting material to and from Outside Item Writers (OIWs) and reviewers. With direct supervision, draft correspondence, follow-up, complete paperwork and payments
May assist with copyright permission and scanning
Assist with processing candidate inquiries
Suggest process improvements to achieve shorter cycle time, reduced costs, greater customer satisfaction and quality maintenance.
Perform general administrative functions as required in support of test creation
May assist with travel arrangements and expense reports
Copies and distributes materials
Handles logistics for group, internal or team meetings under direction of supervisor
Enters data, updates and maintains existing records, logs, files and forms
Apply edits to documents, presentations and spreadsheets
Organize and prepare mass mailings
May assist with activities related to program or departmental SharePoint sites
Assist with software support for the group, including troubleshooting technical issues related to software functionality

Experience and Skills
Education

A High School diploma is required.

Experience

3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience is required.

Advanced level skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Ability to learn and use proprietary test creation and scoring software as well as third-party applications and browsers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and must demonstrate high degree of accuracy
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and multi-task
Ability to follow up and follow through
Must be able to take initiative and be a team player
