1st shift : 8am to 4:30pm for 6 months then would transition to a 2nd shift : 12:30pm to 9:00pm


Temporary 6 month position to possibly a full time position on 2nd shift


Minimum of 3 months experience using precision measuring tools



Position Summary:

·         Perform various tests and measurements within the laboratory on golf related product and materials.   Responsible for providing test data to management with documented results.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

o    In conjunction with the responsible engineer, conduct development tests in an assigned area of responsibility during development of product, materials, equipment, and processes, using engineering drawings, sketches, procedures, written and verbal instructions.

o    Apply knowledge in such areas as: precision measuring equipment, tooling, plastics, test equipment, and hand tool usage to carry out responsibilities.

o    Set up equipment and tools to conduct test and inspections; conduct tests and inspections; compile and plot data, submit results to designated personnel.

o    Review measurement data and troubleshoot suspect results that may be due to measurement.

o    Assemble and disassemble clubs and/or equipment.

o    Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

o    Enter data in PC and produce simple reports.

o    Carry out responsibilities in accordance with established safety procedures and practices.

o    Participate regularly in process improvement within areas of responsibility.

o    Performs other responsibilities as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

o    Strong ability to communicate in English both written and verbally

o    Demonstrated ability to use arithmetic (decimals, percentages, fractions) to perform calculations, set-ups, inspections, tests and report results.

o    Able to read engineering drawings and specifications.

o    Ability in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

o    Able to safely operate, maintain equipment and perform various set-ups and tests.

o    Working knowledge of PC’s to include basic word processing and spreadsheet applications

o    Demonstrated organization skills and ability to work accurately with numerous details.

o    Able to effectively interface with others at all levels of the organization

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

o    High school diploma

o    Minimum of 3 months experience using precision measuring tools


Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

o    Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

o    Exposure to laboratory environment with equipment dust and noise.

o    Demonstrated ability to work with hands.

o    Physically able to lift 25 lbs, bend, stoop, reach and perform non-routine tasks as require.

o    Able to work various shifts and/or overtime as required.
