Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:
Job Title: Trade Operations Specialist / Settlement Analyst
Shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday - Friday OT as needed
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.


The Settlement Analyst will be the main point of contact for the equity settlement process in the Canadian market focusing on resolving a broad range of settlement issues, manage and help reduce fails and account exceptions. Candidate must be risk control oriented and able to multitask, manage trade queries from clients, traders and management. The settlements analyst is responsible for conducting research on open fails and provide effective resolution to account exceptions, breaks and must be able to meet stringent market deadlines. Provide feedback and trade narrative to management on a regular basis and upon request. The incumbent is also responsible for escalating any ongoing issues to management per department's procedures and must also be able to develop internal and external working relationships to facilitate the settlement process. Maintain direct communication between multiple internal and external points of contacts such as clients, brokers, trade support teams, custodians and other onshore and offshore settlement teams


3+ years of equity settlement experience
Detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
