Training Coordinator (Contractor)

The training coordinator will assist the S&T Manager to maintain and update the training programs for the production team members to ensure they understand work related machinery use-processes and procedures.

Primary responsibilities

  • Ability to operate, maintain, and ensure equipment is ready 
  • Update training materials (work instructions, visual aids, forms & videos) on a needed basis
  • Ensure all training is tracked via T-Scan
  • Must have an understanding and working knowledge of T-Scan and be certified through 10-12 hour TWI training course.  Must be able to demonstrate the TWI-Job Instruction process successfully
  • Must be able to work across all departments
  • Adheres to all facility safety policies and procedures, including keeping an eye out for any potential hazards in the facility. Ensures area around work is also up to safety requirements while working on a task
  • Complete daily TWI audits on trainers during their training sessions
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in a multi-cultural setting
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work closely with cross functional teams (Quality & Safety teams)
  • Must be able to understand and demonstrate TWI training process around Job Instructions

Ideal candidate will:

  • Active Listener
  • Must have computer skills that include Word, Excel, Office 365, & PowerPoint
  • Be flexible and available to interact and connect with people at all levels in the organization
  • Be self-directed and able to meet deadlines
  • Bilingual is a bonus but not required
  • Ability to learn and retain information on many different training topics
  • Demonstrate proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Display the ability to multi-task and be effective in a fast-paced dynamic environment
