Training Specialist

1.Responsible for developing initial and on-going training programs for attorneys and staff, for standard end user applications such as, but not limited to MS Office, MacPac, and FileSite, as well as, comprehensive training on the firms various office equipment, forms, procedures, processes, and overall orientation to the firms various legal and administrative departments.
2. Writing and developing training materials, including Tip Sheets, and insuring that training materials are accurate, current and easily accessible to end users. The Trainer will be responsible for updating, distributing and maintaining an inventory of User Manuals.
3. The Trainer will maintain records of attendees of each class, recommend re-training as necessary based on skill assessments, and work closely with IT Manager and HR regarding employees skill issues thatneed to be addressed in a confidential manner.

Ten years of comprehensive legal Secretarial experience, with at least five years of experience of litigation.
The trainer shall have a strong knowledge of the various application software used by the Firm. The Trainer needs to be proficient on MS Office Applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Also familiar with Office 365.
The trainer must have working knowledge of legal terms, documents and processes in various practices areas.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
