Training Coordinator

Project Overview: 
As the scope and reach of business has grown exponentially over the years, there is a need to ensure robust internal systems are in place to support an ever larger and complex landscape. In this context, will be implementing a new global internal system in 2018, which requires customization from the vendor’s Out of the Box version, to adapt to the needs of suppliers. A solid change management plan, as well as a training / education program is needed to foment a smoother launch and landing of the new system in 2018. 

The team working on the project, consisting of a cross functional team, along with our external partner is leading the charge. We are looking for a solid training specialist to support with critical aspects of helping make sure this sweeping change is well communicated and users are educated on the new system. 

You will support the training workstream Lead and be responsible for pieces of the training operations and logistics, as well as supporting aspects of putting in place of the core learning offerings that target around the globe, as well as global vendor partners. 

Overall Responsibilities: 
Support in Training Development 
-Collaborate in the quality review of system training collateral produced by provider. Track and ensure various collateral developed is aligned with planning and timelines. 
-Support the mapping of the just in time materials that support current process with the collateral that reflects the new processes. 
Training Delivery 
-Coordinate as needed with Instructors, On-site coordinators, etc. 
-Reserve training space and hardware (e.g. screen, laptops etc.) 
-Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the system program you are supporting, with the ability to communicate effectively to attendees and stakeholders about program details. 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 

  • 3 bullets of the workers main responsibilities on the project
  • Support logistics and operations for system training programs, and supporting workstream Lead so the programs run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Supporting metrics and reporting. 
  • Help manage training planning / schedule and rosters of attendees / wait lists for all programs and maintain and update registration information and attendance records. 

Required Skills: 


  • List of all the skills required (education, technical and soft skills) required to be successful in the position 
  • BA/BS degree (manager is open to area of study) with a strong academic record 
  • 2-4 years prior related experience in administration, event organization, or training specialist / coordinator role preferred 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (with examples) and cross cultural sensitivity 
  • Advanced organizational skills (e.g. prioritizing workload, effective time management, etc). 
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt quickly (e.g. adjusting course schedules with little notice). 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships. 
  • Ability to effectively partner with and influence others to get things done. 

Nice to have 
-4-6 years experience with rolling out large systems trainings with many members across GEOs (Strongly Preferred) 
- Solid knowledge of Camtasia 
- Solid knowledge of LMS
