OVERVIEW:
The (Senior) Transaction Advisory Manager will work collaboratively with the Transaction Advisory Services Group to help clients strategize, evaluate, and execute transactions to meet their business needs. Will oversee transactional activity for both sectors (private and public) and private equity groups operating in a variety of industries and business services. Will prepare and analyze reports for both the buy side and sell side, in order to provide clients important information and ensure return on investment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct and complete financial/accounting due diligence for both public and private buyers and sellers from a variety of industries, including: manufacturing and distribution, technology, retail and hospitality and business services.
Create and maintain client relationships to organize and engage in effective interactions with target company executives
Analyze and compile financial data/financial statements provided by buyer and/or seller, will coordinate with buyer and seller on all reporting efforts
Provides commentary on the quality of the client or selling company earnings (Quality of Earnings/normalized EBITDA) by highlighting pertinent business profitability trends and aggressive accounting policies
Supervision of associates and seniors; providing performance review feedback
Assist organizational leaders on proposals and new business opportunities by preparing responses, contributing to the proposal process, building client relationships, representative knowledge of client business and communicating directly with the buyer and/or seller.
Manage client expectations related to project deliverables and deadlines
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services.
Communicate (written and verbal) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills


REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-8+ years of recent Accounting or Auditing Experience (GAAP, GAAS)
- Must have advanced GAAP Experience within Public Accounting
- Must have experience with Transaction Accounting and Financial Due Diligence
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus
