Position: Transaction Coordinator
Job Location: Nashville, TN
Job Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Mon – Fri 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: 41.00 per hour

Reconciliation and accounting. Contract review and setup. Applications of funds. Working on documents and booking contracts in system.




Candidate will focus on account reconciliations and the servicing of all JSS customer contracts.
Leading team meetings with appropriate Credit Analyst, Account Manager, and Attorney. Developing action item list for review in each team meeting, confirming action items, assigning responsibilities and timelines for each team member, and periodically following up with team members to ensure goals are met. Preparing complex documentation for U.S. and international transactions including construction and permanent loans. Communicating with customers, dealers, shipyards/OEMs, CFSC and third party counsel, and other lenders to negotiate transaction issues, and developing appropriate documentation with international parties in multiple jurisdictions. Ensuring that all conditions of the transaction credit approval and commitment letter are correctly documented in the loan documentation package for each transaction. Preparing and reviews standard and non-standard transaction documentation within defined guidelines. Gathering information and performing analysis for document preparation, such as customer and guarantor corporate governing documents to determine proper legal names, authorized signers, and types of board resolutions required to complete transaction documents. Typical financing documents may include loan agreements, promissory notes, mortgages, security agreements, guaranties, assignments, and other transaction documents. Analyzing project construction contract to ensure CFSC can obtain a security interest in the equipment or project during construction. Explaining documents and conditions precedent to funding to customers and shipyards/OEMs, negotiating documentation issues, and approving exceptions to standard practice within authority level. Confirming insurance coverage against standard requirements, following up for any deficiencies, and verifying and / or negotiating coverage to complete the document file. Developing project construction milestone schedules with Credit Analyst. Required Qualifications:

Microsoft Office skills are required.
Intermediate Excel required (will perform pivot tables).
Familiarity with SalesForce would be beneficial (will document and run reports in SF).
Familiarity with CAT systems preferred.




Business degree in accounting, finance or business. Previous experience working in a business environment required. 4+ years of experience preferred.
a minimum of 4 years exempt experience in paralegal, credit, customer services, collections, marketing, financial statement analysis and/or a related discipline. Demonstrated ability to apply leadership principles and techniques. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and take measured risks, using available data. Demonstrated ability to concentrate on results while being flexible to achieve goals. Has a sense of urgency and willingness to accept accountability. Proven ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, working effectively with others inside and outside the company. Working knowledge and ability to prepare sound, legally enforceable contracts and supporting documents that accurately set forth the terms of the transaction on a timely basis. Working knowledge and ability to provide guidance and apply problem resolution techniques to marine team members on transaction issues. Knowledge of basic contract law. Ability to draft letters, contracts, and other legal documents. Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply financing and taxation principles. Knowledge of company products and their applications and markets. Knowledge of company customers and their industries. Knowledge of financing and documentation principles. Demonstrated knowledge of requirements of filing security interests and their applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree preferred
