Role: Transportation Coordinator
Contract Length - 1 year (possible extension of another year)
Pay: $23.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Overview: The Transportation Coordinator will be in the front line using internal tools to ensure day to day operations run smoothly. The role will involve extensive amount of communication with various cross functional internal teams and carrier partners with the goal of ensuring on-time delivery SLAs are met. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shape future tools by identifying opportunities and suggesting new features. You will also be able to build reports, analyze issues and brief various cross functional teams on general operational health and highlight performance gains/opportunities during periodic performance review meetings.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Use proprietary internal tools to manage transportation network consisting of day to day pickup and delivery operations across all markets.
Liaise and communicate extensively with carrier partners, fulfillment, customer service and other operations teams both internally and externally.
Ability to make time sensitive business decisions and follow various/dynamic standard operating procedures
Escalate customer impacting and high level issues to leadership teams in a time bound environment
Identify trends in the operations and root cause any issues, log all relevant information, compile data and create daily/weekly reports
Recap performance metrics to broader XFN teams in daily/weekly/monthly meetings and provide relevant insights/details
Partner with other XFN teams to root cause issues and implement simple yet sustainable solutions and procedures
Develop and improve systems and tools used to manage the operations
Assist in leading, training and onboarding team members on key role responsibilities
Adhere to and assist in putting together best practice protocols for ever evolving tasks and iterative tools being rolled out

Qualifications:

Thrives in a fast paced work environment
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Proactive and open communication (written and verbal), ability to ask questions and vocalize concerns
Basic analytical and technical abilities within Google sheets and/or Microsoft Excel a must
Bachelor's Degree Highly Preferred
40hr. work week at office location
Flexible hours between (7am-11pm) including working on weekends (daily 8 hr. shifts)
