The Transportation Manager has the responsibility to lead, manage and assist in the transportation process ensuring all objectives are meet and service to internal and external customers is on time. The position will be responsible for all shipments from replenishment and distribution locations.

Review of daily schedules, shipment and replenishment to ensure completion
Review and control of shipment costs monthly reporting of results
Negotiation of shipping contracts
Ensure all vendor payments are processed in a timely manner
Work with TMS system to ensure processes are followed and shipments completed inside TMS
Support company owned fleet with effective routes and monitoring
Monthly reporting of customer service levels
Monthly reporting of capacity by location
Continuous review of processes to find areas for improvement
Ensure training and development of all team members
Special projects and other duties as assigned







Education & Experience




Minimum Education Level:


HS Degree


Preferred Education Level:


Bachelor/Master
